I’ve put up at Hilton Milan over the last couple of years mainly because of its proximity to Milano Centrale station. Located just a stone’s throw away from the station, Hilton Milan is strategically located and it cannot be more convenient for business and leisure travellers. If you’re coming from the Milan’s Malpensa Airport, the coach journey to Milano Centrale station takes about an hour and half, depending on the traffic condition. Alternatively, you can take the express train ride from Malpensa Airport. That is faster and should take no more than an hour.

Great for its strategic location – Hilton Milan Italy
The selling point of Hilton Milan is its location. Other than that, the hotel is rather basic and simple. I’ve always stayed at the executive floor. At 28m², the executive room is clean and relatively big. There is still amble space for your shopping bags in the room even with the king size bed and some other basic furniture. The bed is generally comfy. My only complaint is that the bathroom is rather small. And also, the bathroom is a bit rundown e.g. a chipped marble dado and leaking pipe. Previously, I was allocated a room with a balcony that really serves no purpose. It’s so small that you can only stand there and look into the opposite building.
Hilton Milan Executive Room
I was at Hilton Rome Airport Hotel two weeks earlier before I checked into Hilton Milan. The executive lounge is much better at Milan than Rome. The lounge is cleaner, bigger and much better designed. They also have more items during breakfast and better refreshments during the evening cocktail. There is complimentary WIFI and a personal computer in the executive lounge.

Hilton HHonors members have complimentary WIFI access in the room. Otherwise, guests can utilise the free WIFI service in the hotel lobby. The hotel gym is in the basement. And it’s well equipped with the basic machines.
Hilton Milan Gym
I would recommend Hilton Milan for its location. It’s like a plain vanilla ice-cream. It’s good but don’t expect any wow factor or excitement.
